Description

Labour are specialized workers in the construction industry who prepare sites by cleaning them, loading or unloading materials and removing hazards. Labour may also run some types of equipment or put together and take apart scaffolding and other temporary structures. They are essential to highway construction, building, and environmental remediation.
Project managers perform some or all the following duties:
  • Plan, organize, supervise, direct, control and evaluate construction projects from start to finish according to schedule, specifications and material and labour allowance
  • Plan and prepare construction schedules and milestones and monitor progress against established schedules
  • Must be able read drawings and specs
  • Insure proper employees scheduling and labour time sheet description. Will ensure that all worker punch in and out and have their location mark by GPS for tracking. All vacation request (supervisor or staff) will be send to our admin@roydrywall.com address in order to manage properly the vacation allocation.
  • Ensuring that all employees and supervisors of Roy Drywall fallow all safety procedures and regulations and they are fallowing Roy Drywall work ethics.
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. Ensure the cleanliness of the site is essential, daily maintenance is required.
  • Develop and implement and perform quality control programs to ensure quality workmanship
  • Prepare purchase order of building materials required on site
  • Depending on the scale of the project and its complexities, coordinates the work in collaboration with site supervisor (schedule, labour requirements, equipment required, etc.)
  • Attending all site meetings and all employee meetings.
  • Coordinating the delivery, reception and installation of our products by fallowing the drawings, the addenda, change order and work orders. Ensure that all materials are on site for the next 2 days minimum. Will ensure that all work is executed as per drawing and to notify the management if any changes / discrepancies occurs from the estimated drawings to the construction drawing as well as the site conditions. Will create a COR for the office to estimate. The project manager will create RFI for all discrepancy from drawings to site to reconcile all the missing information.
  • All emails must be forwarded and all cc (carbon copy) to bobby@roydrywall.com
  • The project manager may be requested to deliver small order of material to site.
  • Ensure that all required reports such as various progress reports to provide an objective overview of the state of the site in send to the bobby@roydrywall.com.
  • Collaborate and work closely with the general contractor
  • Communicate constantly with all others on the project
  • Coordinating the activities of the various subcontractors
  • The typical schedule is to be on site, Monday to Friday 7 am to 17.
  • Make sure that all daily report are completed and sent before 5 PM (describing what was completed during the day, any issue encounter, any injuries, any RFI requested by office, scheduling, etc.…)
  • The project manager is responsible for requesting RFI, creating all COR and the task report attach to the COR, to submit to the management for estimating. Once approved from the management, the project manager is responsible to ensure that all changes are built as promptly as possible.
  • Due to their level of responsibility, they are always on-call incase something on the project goes wrong at any point.
  • The project manager is the direct link of communication between de field and the upper management.
